Ride It Forward
Ride It Forward is Avesta Equestrian’s initiative to give back to the community. As part of this commitment, we donate a portion of our proceeds to the Haolgen Foundation, supporting entrepreneurship—a cause that our founder, Lara Manchharam, is deeply passionate about.
In addition, Lara volunteers with BTSC Cares, the charitable arm of her riding club in Singapore. Through this program, she helps organize activities that connect individuals with special needs to horses, fostering meaningful experiences and inclusion.

Bukit Timah Saddle Club
Halogen Foundation
BTSC Cares, the charity arm of Bukit Timah Saddle Club, gives back through equine programs that benefit people with disabilities, at-risk youth, and the wider community. In 2023, over 800 participants engaged with horses, inspiring and uplifting lives. Lara, volunteers in these programs as a way of “Riding It Forward,” giving back to the community through her passion for riding.
The Halogen Foundation is an organisation that inspires and equips young people to discover their potential, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact on the world around them. Instead of only teaching leadership in a classroom, it provides programmes, workshops, mentoring, and real-life experiences that encourage students to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to their schools and communities.
